Dr. JB Moses “Improving vascular graft patency through biomimicry"

Date

June 13, 2023 - 10:00am to 11:30am

Event Description

Dr. JB Moses, MD
Title “Improving vascular graft patency through biomimicry"
Our research is focused on improving both short and long term patency rates of vascular grafts through a novel approach to vascular graft design by pairing compliance matching with dynamic luminal topography.  I will summarize our research into developing and testing these novel grafts including presenting newer testing methodologies that we are currently designing through collaboration. If time allows we will briefly discuss some preliminary results of our retrospective study looking at claudication outcomes as well as highlighting a newer research focus looking at the role of inflammatory pathways in carbon monoxide mediated vasoprotection"
