General and Vascular Surgery Residents Win “Little Apple” Awards

Our residents Drs. Elizabeth Andraska and Jason Wagner from the Integrated Vascular Surgery Program and Dr. Sidrah Khan from the Categorical General Surgery Program received Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching (Little Apple) Awards. These awards are selected by the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine class of 2019 to recognize outstanding residents and interns who they worked with during their third-year rotations. Little Apple award recipients are chosen based on student teaching, team leadership, fund of knowledge, compassion and humanistic patient care, and services as a mentor and role model. Only six total awards are given. Congratulations to all our resident winners!
