Date

September 9, 2021 - 8:30am

Event Description

Presenter: Dr. Berthony Deslouches

Dr. Deslouches' laboratory focuses on structure-function studies for the design of anti-infective cationic peptide therapeutics, including antimicrobials, as well as on mechanism of action of these antimicrobials. Currently, the lab is focusing on antibacterial properties of these peptides, although their application extends to the potential for antiviral, antifungal, and antitumor properties.
