The Society of Surgical Oncology held their 2019 International Symposium on Regional Cancer Therapies in Phoenix, Arizona on February 16-18, 2019. Featured faculty speakers from the department included Haroon Choudry, MD, who presented "Discordant Diagnostic Terminology and Pathologic Grading of Mucinous Appendix Neoplasms Reviewed at a High-Volume Center"; Heather L. Jones, PA-C, who presented "Inpatient Sleep Quality as Predictors of Clinical Outcomes after Cancer Surgery"; and Rajesh Ramanathan, MD, pictured above, who presented "Cell Vaccine with Chemokine Modulation in Peritoneal Carcinomatosis."
