Successful tolerance induction using immune cell-based therapies in transplantation depends on understanding of the peripheral circulating and local intra-graft iommune cellular milieu that underlie graft injury and survival. Dr. Tran will present the evolution and culminating three-year experience from an early phase clinical trial investigating regulatory dendritic cell (DCreg) therapy in liver transplantation. She will additionally present data demonstrating the versatility and strength of computational/bioinformatics methods in assessing other aspects of immunology and inflammation.
